There Is a Better World Out There
“The dragon came. She didn't run.”
"Armor and linen. Everything that should not work."
Against a near-black background, two hands meet in the lower center of the canvas: one bare and warm, emerging from a soft white linen sleeve, the other encased entirely in dark articulated gauntlet armor. They are holding each other gently. That is the whole painting. No faces, no context, no explanation — only the impossible tenderness of that grip and everything it means that neither of them let go. This is the scene readers return to. The one that wrecks you. For the collector who has never quite recovered from a certain chapter.

More from the Studio
Each piece is painted by hand in my Central Florida studio, one canvas at a time.
If you've ever loved a book so hard it hurt, you'll recognize something here.
Between canvases, I'm in the garden. That world sneaks into everything I make.
Every painting is one of a kind. Everything ships with care, from my hands to your walls.
