The Artist
Stephany
Summer
Painter · Reader · Gardener · Mom
I paint from a sun-soaked studio in Central Florida, surrounded by paint-covered rags, half-read fantasy novels, and whatever's blooming in the garden that week.
My work lives in the space between pages — the scenes that authors describe but never quite show you. A girl at the threshold of something enormous. An armored hand reaching for a human one. A warrior facing a sky full of fire and choosing to stay.
I came to painting through a lifelong obsession with stories. Fantasy, romance, the kind of books that make you miss people who don't exist. My art is fan art in the truest sense — made out of love, for people who feel the same.
When I'm not painting, I'm outside. I'm a passionate gardener, and the natural world finds its way into everything — the soft greens, the pink of a wild rose, the way late afternoon light hits a stone wall. Nature and fantasy aren't so different. Both ask you to pay attention.
I'm also a mom, which means I paint in stolen hours and I know exactly how much a single quiet morning is worth.
If you've ever dog-eared a page, sobbed over a fictional character, or pressed flowers into a journal — I made these for you.
Original Oil on Canvas
Each piece is painted by hand in my Central Florida studio, one canvas at a time.
For the Readers
If you've ever loved a book so hard it hurt, you'll recognize something here.
Nature-Rooted
Between canvases, I'm in the garden. That world sneaks into everything I make.
Made With Intention
Every painting is one of a kind. Everything ships with care, from my hands to your walls.
